10 quick facts to know about me  (kind of like speed dating, but much better!)

1. My husband thinks I am secretly planning a second wedding because I still watch, “Say Yes to the Dress”.
2. In a former life I was an engineer, so I like lists.  I sometimes make a list of things I have already done just for the satisfaction of crossing them off.
3. I could eat honey nut cheerios for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  7 days a week.
4. Because I love to know every detail of your wedding plans, sometimes I ask more questions at the client meetings than my clients.
5. I watch way too much Bravo TV (Rachel Zoe anyone?? I D-I-E).
6. We have 3 dogs.  All labs.  I feel the need to explain to everyone that we are not crazy dog people.  Just individuals with dogs that got married.
7. Parents love me.  I’m not totally sure why, but they always do.
8. I start a new diet…every Monday (uggg…so wish this one wasn’t true, but it is).
9. Pretty Woman and Dirty Dancing are the best movies ever made.  E-V-E-R.
10. I LOVE my job.

I am organized to a fault.  My inbox has a hierarchy the could rival the Dewey decimal system and when I am feeling stressed out, wondering the aisles of Office Max somehow relaxes me.  If these OCD tendencies have not scared you off then…Hello!  If you can relate to any of these OCD awesomely cool habits…then Hello-want to meet for coffee and talk about the many uses of white out tape?

Besides knowing about my obsession with office supplies you should know two things about me: I adore wedding details and I am a magnet to emotions.

The endless color combinations, flower selections and the tiniest of details are still an obsession even though my wedding was three years ago.  I often post inspiration boards and DIY projects on the blog as a way to justify my on-going research into wedding details.

The other part that excites me is the emotion that surrounds every wedding.  Maybe I watched too much General Hospital or 90120 growing up, but I love the laughter, the tears and the joy that is overflowing at weddings.  If only Office Max could bottle these two things up I would never leave home!

Important Details Before We Go Steady (Like if I squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom or the middle):

This is not a side gig or a part time job.  I am a FULL TIME wedding and portrait photographer.  This means that your wedding is my main priority and client service is what makes my business thrive.  You can reach me anytime via email, phone or Facebook.  No question is too small and I’m always available to talk about your wedding.

I use professional grade Canon gear.  I bring a back-up camera, a variety of camera lenses and flashes, lots of memory cards and tons of batteries to every shoot.  I don’t just bring all of this gear to your session I know how to use it!  I have the experience to quickly adapt to any location, lighting, child melt down or missing wedding party member (it’s always a groomsmen!) situation.

Your images are downloaded the day of your event and backed-up immediately.  I know how important your images are and I take keeping them safe very seriously.

And, I squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom…always.  I even fix other people’s toothpaste if I see it squeezed from the middle.
